User Guide
Everything you need to join, host, and manage meetings — from scheduling to recordings.
App Section vs Admin Panel
The platform has two main areas:
- App Section — Where all users join meetings, manage their schedule, and access recordings
- Admin Panel — Where Owners and Admins manage the organization (members, rooms, billing)
This guide covers the App Section. For organization management, see the Admin Guide.
Who Is This Guide For?
Everyone who uses V.connct to participate in meetings — whether you're joining someone else's meeting or hosting your own. All organization members (Owners, Admins, and Members) use the App Section for their meeting activities.

Key Concepts
Meeting Types
V.connct supports different types of meetings:
- Instant Meetings — Start immediately, no scheduling required
- Scheduled Meetings — Set for a specific date and time
- Recurring Meetings — Repeat on a pattern (daily, weekly, monthly)
Meeting Roles
During a meeting, participants have one of four roles: Host, Co-Host, Presenter, or Attendee. Each role has different permissions for managing participants, sharing content, and controlling the meeting.
View the full roles & permissions guide →
Meeting roles vs organization roles
These are different from organization roles (Owner, Admin, Member) which control access to the Admin Panel. Meeting roles only apply inside a meeting.
Understanding Your Dashboard
When you log in, you'll see the App Section with these main areas:
- Home — Quick actions to start, join, or schedule meetings, plus your upcoming schedule
- Meetings — Full list of all your meetings with filtering and management options
- Calendar — Visual calendar view of your schedule with drag-and-drop rescheduling
- Recordings — All your meeting recordings with playback and management
Use the sidebar to navigate between these sections. If you're an Owner or Admin, you'll also see a toggle to switch to the Admin Panel.
